  23. freeware plug-ins there will be.

  25. Given that C plug-ins are more difficult to do than, say,
  26. ARexx plug-ins were for the Amiga, how many ARexx scripts
  27. were given away for LW users?

  29. On the other hand, the new plug-ins will do much more than
  30. you could do in ARexx.

  32. We might look to the 3D Studio IPAS market for comparisons.
  33. Yes, you do see a number of freeware IPAS.  Few came with
  34. source code, most were binary-only.  Their plug-in system 
  35. cost $250 from Autodesk, plus it needs a $1000-worth of
  36. other obscure PC compler tools.  They also have a script
  37. language, and some freeware scripts are being circulated.
